About

This summer on the North-West coast of Ireland, join us  on a creative retreat to deepen  the power of our body :: mind :: nature connection.

A gathering of 10 women who are making waves in the world.

A ‘meeting of the waters’ - experiencing and embodying water bodies and our part in the water cycle:

River as journey of life

Lake as place of mystery and deep reflection

Sea and surf as power of play, movement of waves - wild and free

Ebb and flow of the tide.

XXX

DETAILS

WHAT

A facilitated, embodied experience, where water is an active metaphor, learning medium and source of inspiration.

Guided movement and embodiment practices that awaken our connection to both our inner and outer waterscapes i.e. the fluid systems within our body and our innate water connection to water bodies in our local environment.

WHY

Our interconnection with water is absolute, yet our watery disconnect in the world today is immense.

Water is a mirror to who we are, to our souls, our essence, our life-force, but our waters and oceans are sick.

Let us deepen our process of connection and capacity to heal and be healed by our watery environments.

WHO

The retreat is limited to 10 places.

Women who make waves are women who disrupt the status quo in some way.

This is for women who are making an impact in our watery world in diverse ways -  in leadership roles, as influencers, water-keepers and change-makers.

"WE ARE 60% WATER. 71% OF THE EARTH’S SURFACE IS COVERED IN IT. 97% OF THAT WATER IS IN OUR OCEANS, WHICH DAILY EBB AND FLOW AS WE GET NEARER OR FURTHER FROM THE MOON. IT’S THE SUBSTANCE OF LIFE, OF MYSTERY AND MYTH, OF JOY AND DESPAIR, OF FRIVOLITY AND FEAR, OF WAR, OF DEATH.”

WHO WE ARE

Easkey Britton, founder of Like Water,  is a pioneering big-wave surfer and marine social scientist specialising in ‘blue space’, how water environments benefit our health & wellbeing. Her work explores the relationship between people and nature, using her passion for the ocean to create social change and connection across cultures.  Passionate about facilitating creative & collaborative processes, she uses the sea and surfing as an active metaphor to dive deep into the power of letting go & trusting in the process.

Rachael Hall is an Advanced Franklin Method educator, Universal Health Principles practitioner, Pilates teacher and ex-professional Ballet dancer.

Rachael’s passion and gift is creating a space where students begin to feel deeply at home in their body, deeply in awe of their body, connected to and clear about their unique role on our planet. She believes that when a deep rhythm is found within the ecosystem of the body it’s ripple effect spreads farther than we can imagine.
